These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the BakingBuddhi application and related services (the "Service"), operated by Veda Culinary Science LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
BakingBuddhi is an AI-powered baking companion that generates custom recipes and provides real-time baking guidance using Google's Gemini multimodal AI. The Service is available on web and Android platforms at bakingbuddhi.ai.
You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent. Use of the Service is void where prohibited by law.

The Service is offered as a subscription at $3.99 per month (the "Baker" plan). This is a single, all-inclusive tier with no feature limitations.
All payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. We do not directly store your payment card information. Stripe's handling of your payment data is governed by the Stripe Privacy Policy and Stripe Services Agreement.
Subscriptions are billed monthly from the date of purchase. Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or the Stripe customer portal. Upon cancellation:

You own your recipes. All recipes, kitchen configurations, chat history, and other content you create using the Service remain your intellectual property. We claim no ownership over user-generated content.
The Service, including its design, code, AI models, knowledge base, branding, and documentation, is the intellectual property of Veda Culinary Science LLC and is protected by copyright and trademark laws.
By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service (e.g., sending your messages to the AI for recipe generation).
BakingBuddhi uses artificial intelligence (Google Gemini) to generate recipe suggestions, baking guidance, and culinary science information. All AI-generated content is provided "as is" and for informational purposes only.
AI-generated content does not constitute professional dietary, medical, nutritional, or food safety advice. Users with severe food allergies, medical dietary requirements, or other health conditions should independently verify all AI-generated recommendations with a qualified professional.
While we strive for accuracy and employ a curated culinary science knowledge base (8,000+ entries), we do not guarantee that AI-generated content is complete, accurate, or suitable for your specific situation. AI responses may occasionally contain errors.
Users are solely responsible for food safety practices in their kitchen. BakingBuddhi provides general food safety guidance following FDA/USDA standards, but final responsibility lies with the user.
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using the Service, you consent to the practices described in the Privacy Policy.
The Service integrates with third-party providers including Google (Gemini AI, OAuth), Supabase (database), Stripe (payments), and Sentry (error monitoring). Your interactions with these services are governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party service providers.
We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or factors beyond our control.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Veda Culinary Science LLC, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Before filing any formal dispute, you agree to contact us at support@bakingbuddhi.ai to attempt to resolve the dispute informally within 30 days.
Any disputes not resolved informally shall be settled by binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA). The arbitration shall be conducted in California.
You may terminate your account at any time by canceling your subscription and contacting us to delete your account.
We may terminate or suspend your access immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we determine violates these Terms, is harmful to other users or us, or is otherwise objectionable.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, Dispute Resolution) will survive.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you via email or in-app notification.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
